In Cincinnati-

Cops were quick to arrest and the prosecutor was quick to charge a man who shot a would be robber in the head. The man was carrying a concealed weapon in a bar when two armed and masked assailants entered the establishment.

Ohio has no CCW law...

Good for them, what this country needs is more jury nullification form bullshit laws and overzealous prosecutors.

I don't care if a criminal is killed in the course of a crime, that's the chance they take. Fuck em.

Many times they will arrest and bring charges to put on a certain "political face" so to speak, and then actually ask a Grand Jury to "no bill" it.
I've been there and have seen it happen. A Grand Jury has a lot of leeway.

He isnt out of the woods yet.  The family will probably bring a civil lawsuit.

What ARDoc says is true.  Some dumbass liberal judge will let a suit go through, when it shouldn't be allowed.  And a group of citizens did the right thing.

Good thing he wasn't a ham sandwich.

Sad, but true...[:(]

At least there's another pro CCW story on the books for us Ohioans.  Maybe our State Legislature will get of their fat asses and pass the CCW finally.

Grand jurors ignored charges of felonious assault and carrying a gun in a liquor establishment, charges police had brought against McKinney, 54, of Northside.

It looks like he walked free of all charges.  Excellent.  Thank God for juries!  Despite all the  strange stories we sometimes hear about, these are good citizens who did the right thing.

Cincinnati is a way dangerous city.  Glad a good citizen improved the odds by one.

Good ending to a story.  Unlike the Case Western murders where CCW could have saved two innocent lives.  Our COMMUNIST govenor Taft and the legislature have blood on their hands from that one just like my murdered pizza girl, Precious Canter.  A worthless POS beat a 100LB mother of two to death for less than $50.  Wish she had shot the bastard 17 times!!

If the robber's lucky, maybe he could get a change of venue somewhere in England.
