I sold my 1989 Ranger XLT yesterday. It was only a 4 banger with a 5 speed trans, but in the almost 14 years 159.5K miles I had her she was special. Lots of good memories. I was sad last night...funny, it was only a truck, but I hope it has a nice new life in Mexico. I am buying a new one, but it won't be the same. John

My '92 Chevy Cheyenne 4.3L V-6 Automatic has 207K on the clock.

I keep looking at getting a new(er) truck, but I know every squeak and rattle like the back of my hand, and "Old Blue" starts every time I put the key in it....I just can't bring myself to get rid of it.

I'm in the same boat with my Nissan.  We bought it new almost exactly 10 years ago and it's still running great even though it has around 300k on it.  But the bed is starting to rust where the plastic bed liner rubbed the paint off over the years so it's only a matter of time before I'll have to find a replacement.

I know the feeling, I traded my 2000 for a 2002 and I still miss that F-150 today.

I feel your pain.

I drive a 1987 Chevy that will have to literally die on me before she leaves me...
