I picked up a toy Garand at a gunshow a while back. It appears to be about half scale and is
an exact replica in every detail. It is made of plastic and has no other markings on it except the word "MARX" on the left side of the receiver.

Any toy experts out there who might know about when this toy gun was made? I'm thinking late 50s to early 60s.

I can't help you with the age, but I had one in 1973+/-. I bet I've wished a thousand times that I still had it.
