We're giving the Iraqis a chance to work things out themselves (Remember: the Kurds, Sunnis, and other groups do NOT want an Islamic govt, especially not a Shiite one), and hoping the Shiites get the message (i.e. 'We don't mind you being the 'Pat Robertsons' of Iraqi Islam, but you will NOT set up a theocratic government')... If not, it will get messy...
