Was going through some old 2003 & 2004 financial papers (pay stubs, tax papers, checking statements, etc.).  Found this crisp, new $20 tucked in one of my pay stubs.  Must have had some significance at the time, but that memory is long gone.  With the recent announcements pertaining to the new $20 look, it will make this $20 worth $$$$millions.  Stuffed it into my other nonvaluable collectables I keep in my safe.

Wonder how many people will decline to accept the Tubman $20's and ask for a regular $20 or two $10's?

I doubt it.  How would a black woman vote or buy a gun back then?  Why would you even ask that?

It has always been more than ironic that the Federal Reserve put Jackson's face on their most commonly circulated bill.
The Federal Reserve is a private bank, operating against the interests of the people of the US by enabling the govt to spend money that do not have and pass the costs to the people through inflation. The founding fathers took steps to try and prevent this model.

Andrew Jackson was a fierce enemy of central banking, single handedly shutting down the second bank of the united states leading to a period of free money that lasted until the civil war.
Putting his face on the $20 was like taking a big steaming shit on his legacy.
http://www.history.com/topics/bank-war

Lincoln capitulated to the private banking interests in desperation to fund his war against the south, establishing the National banks that set the stage for the implementation of the Federal Reserve in 1913.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_central_banking_in_the_United_States#1863.E2.80.931913:_National_Banks

I wonder what it is about replacing Jackson with Harriet Tubman makes the bankers laugh?

Harriet Tubman was an American abolitionist, humanitarian, and an armed scout and spy for the United States Army during the American Civil War.

If you want to make a statement, get $50s and $10s and just abandon using 20s.

I had a Taurus identical to that.

My friends mother owned it, typical little old lady that only drove it to church type of deal.

I gave him $500 for it. It had a few age related issues, mostly from sitting idle. Dry cracked tires, faded clear coat like most ford's, headliner drooping.

I sold it to my wife's boss that had a prosthetic leg he got at a yard sale, he repaired and added girth to the prosthetic leg to match his real leg by using bondo and spray paint.
He gave me 500 down and 100 a month for 7 months for the car. The car supposedly had something break before the last 200 was paid to me, which he tried to use as a reason not to pay the final 200.
I told him I was getting my 200 either cash from his pocket or from selling his prosthetic leg online, his choice. I got my money, wife had already found another job before the drama started.
True story.

A $20 hasn't been worth a $20 since we went off the gold standard.
