Just kidding. Stupid Minnesotans.

Change.org

With the death of musical superstar Prince on April 21, 2016, Minnesotans suffered a devastating loss. As a lasting and meaningful sign of appreciation for Prince's life and career, let's rename Terminal 1 of Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport to Prince Rogers Nelson Terminal.
Prince, a Minneapolis native, dedicated his life to bringing joy to others through his funky, catchy, and doggedly innovative music. He was a very active and influential supporter of Twin Cities music. And his 7 Grammy wins assure him a prominent place in the pop music Pantheon for the rest of time.
Our institutions should be named in honor the Minnesotans we're most proud of. As a globally recognized and admired musical hero, Prince Rogers Nelson would be a splendid choice to replace Charles Lindbergh as the namesake of our state's busiest airport terminal. Let's make it happen.

They lost a favorite son.  Can't really blame them for wanting this.
