I can't even get my gas-powered lawnmower to run for 30 seconds when I put gasoline into it.
Some people have all the luck... |
|
When I was a volunteer firefighter one of the other firefighters put diesel in one of the gas powered trucks. It wasn't that low on gas to begin with(it was our SOP to always refill after every run), so they probably only put like five gallons in it. It still ran, but smoked a LOT!

This could be a good thing. I made the same mistake years ago when My son mixed diesel with gas. My old lawn mower was starting to smoke a little too much before the addition and afterward it really smoked BUT reseated the valve and quit smoking. I still use the mower, circa 1989. I was told you can do the diesel treatment 2 times before replacing/re-valve/grinding.

Does it taste as good as the 12-pack you drank before you put it in the engine?

Did you put a lift kit, exhaust stack, and some Fox stickers on it and take it to the mall?

Found it missing one day when gas prices where $4.00 plus a gallon. Dont think they where too happy, ironically it was used in my 3cy diesel kubota lawnmower. |

My wife put gas in our diesel Mercedes. Called me from the gas station when she realized what she had done. She didn't start it so I had it towed home and siphoned
the tank out and everything was fine. The problem became how to dispose of 18 gallons of gas and diesel mix. |

Why would anyone have a can of diesel anywhere??? You have either gas or gas/oil.....nothing else!!
|
|
Let s see ifi get this right. Gas in a diesel no problem, diesel in a gas engine big problem.
Detonation or something. |
