My son has an intern position over the summer in Cambridge right on the river at Intersystems.  We had hoped he would be able to get a room for the summer at one of the frat houses in the Beacon Hill area (he applied to many of them).  We haven't heard back from any of them, and we're now getting real nervous.  We may have some options involving him living outside of Boston and commuting in, but obviously something near the company is much better.  He'll be working from May 31 thru the end of August.  If you know of anyone who might rent him a room/couch for that period, please let me know.

I'm not in Boston, MA, but that's a common problem.
Intersystems almost certainly has people that can help your son find housing in the area. Sooner he talks to them, the more options he will have. Have him ask around for help.

Well, they don;t seem to have a well-developed system for housing assistance.  We'll ask again.
