My friend flew them in WW2 and even survived being shot down. The stories he tells..... pure awesome. went on to become a test pilot and retire after a lifelong military career. |

While I will admit that there is a bit of coolness in the OP pic, my over cautious self is surprised that the owner of the B17 allows that. I'd worry about the camera or the stick breaking and striking the aircraft. I know they are pretty tough, but there aren't many operational ones around.
