Stihl cutoff saws used in the movie.  From the museum at their Virginia Beach facility.

Wish they let us take pictures of the production lines, they have some very cool manufacturing processes.

Pretty cool, I was honestly expecting something about how awesome the movie was, or trying to replicate the Delta guns.

IIRC, Wilkerson was actually a USAF PJ, part of GOTHIC SERPENT's joint forces component.

Ahhh I remember now.  He had the wise crack about margaritas.

Even the book talked about the dude that liked to carry those saw around.  I do remember that part, oddly.

Yeah, Wilkie was a AF Para Rescueman, along with Scott Fales, both were aboard the CSAR bird "Razors Edge".

If yuns haven't read "The Battle of Magadishu: firsthand accounts from the men of Task Force Ranger" I highly recommend it as a supplement to the original book.  It tells the story from the perspective of the Paras and the FACs.  There's also additional info from Eversmann and Dan Shilling.
