I have that in my truck but I never use it, I'm not going to pay for it after the free period ends. The Fox channel has as many ads as AM/FM anyway, why should I pay for it?

If you do nothing they'll start sending you offers. If you're patient or call in you can get it for about $5-6 a month.

To the point of me having to use some uncouth language. We got a free trial of Sirius when we bought a car last year. Thankfully they haven't called over this one, just daily emails and the occasional mailer. |

Sit back, wait a few weeks then call and tell em you can't afford their deal. They'll make you a great deal to keep you paying for a year. Same as the cable TV game. |

Every 6 months I call and tell them to cancel...and each time they hook me with $25 for the next 6 months (including fees...that's another 5 coupon they apply).
It's a repeating appointment in my phone. Call takes 5 minutes and I do it while driving home from work, so not much hassle. It's a winner for both me and the rep. I keep my discount and they get credit for preventing a cancellation. I am pretty sure they know the deal as soon as they look at my account, but they do not seem to care. |

I asked them when they called trying to get me to pay after the free trial was over "Why should I PAY for radio with commercials, when I can hear the same thing for free?" She had no answer.
