but I haven't kept up on the newer stuff or anything stuff for that matter. Any guidance would be appreciated
He doesn't want low end, but I don't think he can't afford upper end either. Sportsmans in Twin Falls and the Gun Vault in SLC are about our closest sellers |

LE6920-OEM2
Pick your own furniture. A handguard that uses the standard barrel nut (Fortis Rev2 comes to mind) would be easy to install with simple tools. |

The 6920 is a great starter but a midlength PSA is not too shabby either

Looks like you are in a free state....
So look at the PSA web page - get a complete upper (I recommend a light weight skinny free float hand guard), and get either a complete lower or buy the lower receiver local and then get a lower parts kit. And get a bunch of mags before the next craziness happens. Red |

Agreed, I really like their enhanced lightweight barrel, but lower matters very little, pick the one with the rollmark you like best. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

The Colt 6920 or 6940 is a good choice.
If he's budget conscience let him look at PSA's Premium kits or kit's with the CHF barrels. Buy a stripped lower with his favorite roll mark. Lot of good guns out there, depends what he wants and how he plans to use it. Rock River LMT LWRC Armalite Bushmaster LaRue and others |
