Oh god made the mistake of eating there again...looks like their food handling practices haven't improved. Think I'm 3 for 3 on getting sick from their food over the past year
I remember their food being really good, but it's just not worth the risk.
Good luck OP. |
I just ate there with a free meal coupon and managed to escape without illness.

I eat there every Saturday, never gotten sick, then again the only thing I get is double steak/chicken burritos 2X Rice, 2X cheese. No veggie's.
I never got sick eating there but have switched over Qdoba to be safe. The Knockout Tacos are pretty damn good too.
Never been there and can't imagine I ever will since they are anti-2a
Funny, I had a burrito there yesterday
Intestinal integrity still intact |
All the Chipotle issues makes me happy I moved into an area where Qdoba exists.
Qdoba>Chipotle. |
Ate there the other day. Damn was my stomach messed up about 3 hours later.
Hate the food after they switched meats. Used to be so good too until their liberal bullshit fucked it up.
The first time I ate there was the last time will eat there. The stainless steel counter top they assembled my burrito on was filthy, covered with mess from all the previous burritos/whatever they'd been making all day. The guy just pushed my burrito along the filth like it was a plow. I was disgusted.

Still eat there pretty often. Decently good food for pretty cheap

Ever since they went public the company has gone downhill. The entire culture within the company became about the bottom line, and less about the people that worked for them. They like to say that they are people oriented but all they do is dangle the promise of a promotion in front of the employee, and it never happens. Eventually the employees hard work and motivation goes away, and they dont care about their job anymore. This results in poor food quality, and lack of food safety measures. Eventually they loose the employees that had tenure, and they have to hire new employees but the training has become shitty because all the experienced people are gone. This also results in poor food quality, and a lack of food safety measures. Its no wonder that there are rampant food born illnesses at Chipotle, and they are reporting a decline in sales goals.

I love Chipotle, I eat there about every other week. Never had an issue *shrug*.

I agree about the weak stomach comment; I bet a lot of people either have some form of IBS or are allergic to some ingredient and don't know it. It's rare you would get food poisoning immediately after eating something. |

Quoted: Freebirds... Much better. View Quote Free birds food was bland. I thinks it's all they hype for making shit with tinfoil TBH, I haven't had food poisoning in quite some time. I spent 3 months straight pissing out of my ass from eating local Iraqi food because MREs suck. It got real bad when I couldn't retain water. As soon as it I drank water, I puked and other things. I finally got over it after I passed out from dehydration and had almost 2 liters of electrolyte fluid pushed in my system and then about 12 hours of sleep that seemed like it was only 1 hour |

Tons of cilantro in everything. Fuck that place, I never eat there.
Qdoba is better. |

I think OP just has a weak stomach. I love Chipotle. Agreed. I eat at Chipotle at least once a month, never made me sick. |

The GF and I eat out about 4-6 times a week, so we're pretty well exposed. Chris |

Chipotle is only a small increment better than taco bell. I feel bad for you folks who actually believe Chipotle is Mexican food. |
Thanks OP, I was wondering what I should have for dinner tonight.
Worst case scenario, I get a little "spring cleaning" done. |

Freebirds... Much better. Free birds food was bland. I thinks it's all they hype for making shit with tinfoil And I think Chipotle is bland. I'm also in the lucky % of the population that can taste cilantro for what it really is... soap. (Seriously, cilantro contains amino acids more frequently found in soap.) Rice should not be the main ingredient in a burrito. Cheap filler does not a burrito make. |
I never ate there until they mailed out "free burrito" coupons last month. I ate there 3 times (mom and uncle gave me their coupons) and had no ill effects. It was actually pretty decent.
My teenager ate at one last night, after getting violently ill on Chipotle a few months ago. Seriously kid, WTF
Eat there regularly and have never gotten sick.
As a matter of fact, that will be my dinner this evening. |
People claiming Chipotle is gross or low quality need to get their heads checked. Although their feel good ingredient claims and practices are marketing bullshit that are a bit dangerous compared to the evil food establishment, their food is pretty high quality for the price.
I've eaten there literally hundreds of times in the past ten years and never gotten ill. |
I am not getting the Qdoba>Chipotle and Chipotle>Qdoba declarations.
They seem pretty much exactly the same to me. And I've never been sick in either. Either OP has food issues or his franchise has health dept issues. |
