At least eight people have been killed at a refugee camp in Nigeria after two female suicide bombers blew themselves up.

According to reports, the bombing took place in the north-east of Nigeria on Wednesday morning near the border with Cameroon.

It is said that the two female suicide bombers were initially thought to be internally displaced persons at the camp.

Several people were wounded in the attack though details still remain sketchy.
