Chair is coming through my ass...

How many times have you fallen asleep? I did mine at work and had trouble staying awake.

Listen and become a "expert". Get personal contact info from the instructors in case you have a future question.
That held me in very good stead when it came to waste management/disposal. |

Sorry you have to waste your time so someone else can justify their job.

OSHA 30hr online is much faster. Classroom for the fail
Made assumption. Tips and tricks: If you rapid click the forward button before the page fully loads (and locks the function out with the timer), you can sometimes zoom through the pages to the end of the section and take the quiz |

Day 2? Have they showed you the accident report of the guy killed by the tire grinding machine because of a lockout-tagout mistake?

Been there dont that, it was a good time killer when I was in Afghanistan. Broke up the boredom with a different kind of boredom :)

Have you watched any videos yet where someone used no common sense? |

It's online, but the reference material is very good. I'll be developing the safety plan for our company (even though we have <11 employees) after I complete this. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

When I worked for E.I. Dupont the peeps never paid attention during the HW classes and I got a shit ton of sweet OT by coming in on my days off and preparing HW shipments....No pressure and I worked at my own pace. If I ran into something I was not sure about I called one of the OSHA peeps that trained me and played "Oh Shucks" dumb and they would fall over their selves to help me. |

I'm sure OSHA would say that a chair through the ass is a safety violation

Having done several of them has got me bumped out of civil jury duty on two occasions.
One asbestos related and one scaffold collapse |

Freaking ladder safety was the always the nail in the coffin for me, I could never stay awake for that segment.

View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Sorry you have to waste your time so someone else can justify their job. Uh, no. Sorry. MOST training, espessially most safety training is a complete waste of time, in my opinion. The more training we give, the dumber people get and the more likely they are to rely on their 'safety training' instead of common sense. I see a need for basic training, sure, but most industries are weeeellllll beyond that. |

Do you feel safe yet?
I had an insurance company do my 10 hour, it was basically a how to avoid osha taking all your money class. The point seemed to be that if they show up, your screwed. |

My card finally filled up after 30 OSHA classes. After that I figured by the time someone looked to see if I was qualified and found it it would be over. Lot of shit for someone that is escorted by a plant/refinery employee every second they are on site.
My boss had the right attitude. They allow you to fall asleep once, then the next time you have to leave and come back another day. So go in and sleep till they wake you up. Boss knows lol. A lot of the test they should give you before the class, anyone that fails shouldn't be on site to begin with. |

I remember when I used to get trained regularly. The company either thought I was a dolt or wanted me to stay safe.
My new company either thinks I'm smart enough to know better or wants me dead. |

Which website are you using? I found a few offering it for $189.00 but wasn't sure which one would be the best choice. Nevermind, I should have read further. |

What processes are you permitted to do on a 480 electrical panel with the cover removed while you are wearing 30% polyester underwear?
And what degrees of incline is required for a the sides of a 5ft deep trench 20ft long to NOT require shoring of the sides or a ladder for egress? |
