Has this ever happened to anyone?

I've had a lot of trouble sleeping for the past few weeks with a lot work stuff, wedding planning, and issues with my mothers health dancing in my head at night. I also had a pretty serious bender this weekend while hanging with a couple sets of friends I haven't seen in a while.

Monday after work I stop at the ATM and just stand there looking at the keypad waiting for my reflexes to kick in and my fingers to punch in the numbers and nothing happened. I realized I had not a damn clue what the number was. I tried it twice thinking I knew the digits but not the order... nada.

Fast forward to tonight, I tried it again, confident that I had remembered and MAAAAAAAAAAHH.  No dice.

40 years old in good health. Am I a goner?

You have to write it on the card with a Sharpie...

I can remember my work and home safe combos just fine... I just wish I could remember where the safes are.

Same age, same condition. If you don't frequently use it, your fine. Use it often and forgot it, you'll die someday.

I forgot my safe combo for 4 days but I'm 65. It may be a tumor, should go to Doc now.

I probably use it once every two maybe three weeks.

40? Recent bender? Yep!!

You killed the 4 brain cells the PIN was recorded on, and it's gone forever.

Just go get the PIN changed to 8787.

My phone number and SSN are similar so I fuck them up sometimes.

I have downstairs and upstairs gun safes, and will scramble the combinations when I'm exhausted and/or sick.

Stress or lack of sleep can screw with your memory.
