I think APEX is getting kits as well. Interesting cross design |

Speaking of parts kits, been drooling over one of these

It is a shame they can't just sell the complete, unmolested rifle.
American gun control laws are strange because unlike the gun control in other Western countries gun owners in the US have fought back with effect. The banners have had to make due with restrictions that can fly in the political reality of the day, and these typically are the ones that have minimal effect on the majority of people, or else have less obvious effect up front. Bans on MGs for example, or import restrictions that are not a direct ban on ownership. In France it is hard to become a gun owner but if you do SBRs and cans are easy to get. I don't think you can get FA but I doubt they have the silly MG receiver rules we have. |

I have one made off of a parts kit.
Great little rifle. Great deal on the magazines as well. |

Something's fucky.
I don't see the muzzle device or the bipod, which really give the BM59 its look. I really wish I'd bought one of the SA guns back in the 80s. |

View Quote So does Tony the garand guy. www.garandguy.com I have the E model, and would like to get the Italian or Alpine model. |

Thanks ARFCOM for, once again, finding expensive things that I never knew I needed until now.
A BM-59 is worth saving up for! |

Considered a fabulous rifle with features of ‘ easy take down’ and handling ,that surpass the M1 Garand & M14 ! This is considered the best of the Italian ‘BM’ rifle series and comes complete with bipod and grenade launcher/ Tri-compensator flash hider. Many professional shooters say that the Tri-compensator on this rifle is the best and most effective around! The barrel does not come with the kit, but we should have some new .308 barrels soon! A 20 rd. magazine does come with this kit. There are a number of companies applying a conversion to the Garand receivers to make them BM59 receivers, so having a gun kit built into a firearm is a reality! As a special introductory thank you, we have included a free sling! BM59 ITAL Parts Set |

I saw one of these at an lgs just a few days ago going for a shade over $1400.

I knew about the reinterpretation of the 68 GCA. I'd hoped Sarco had "found" these in their warehouse like they've been known to do in the past. They must be including M1 bbls with the 59e models. |

I have 2 "Returned from Paraguay" grade barrelled receivers, 2 full M1 parts kits, 2 Korean return stocks, and an 18" .308 barrel.
Should I get the kit, or just buy the parts I need? |

looks like some of these kits just popped up at Centerfire also...
