Can't watch it with sound here at work, but let me see if I got it.
Suicidal stranded man finds the corpse of Daniel Radcliff, which bears magical powers that enable the corpse to provide anything that the stranded man needs: water, grappling hook, woodchopper, etc. Also he talks? If I'm understanding right... what in the hell? |
So, is this radcliffes career ender, or is he too stereotyped to have a career, and wind up like adam sandler with a bunch of hyped movies that aren't worth shit?
is this like the harry potter that was molested by dumbeldorf?
This is possibly the worst (or best) remake of Weekend at Bernie's ever.

Elijah Wood did a terrific job in Willfred portraying a suicidal mentally ill man that believes his neighbor's dog is a human in a dog costume. So I'll bet this will be entertaining with English Elijah Wood. |

Meh, I'll watch it on DVD. It doesn't seem much stranger than Big Fish which turned out to be pretty good IMO.

View Quote He'll be laughing all the way to the bank on his Quiditch stick for the rest of his life. Just like Sandler, he can now do anything he wants...maybe just not acting...who knows... People it seems, especially in Hollywood and music, get too wrapped up in the thought, " I made my money doing X, now I have to keep doing X." |
The fuck did I just watch?
I don't know if I should laugh at it and be mildly entertained or extremely pissed off at how utterly fucking retarded it is. |

You can almost picture two screenwriters drinking heavily and passing a bong back and forth, watching Castaway. One looks at the other and says, "Dude.... What if.... like... Wilson was like.... a real person... and could do all kinds of crazy shit? Like he could shoot bullets out his mouth and like.... make water and stuff.."
I'll probably see it. Sometimes it's nice to watch a movie that doesn't challenge you or make you think in any measurable way. |
Thats weird as fuck. I was laughing just watching the trailer though, might have to see it.
Yeah, it's Castaway at Bernie's.
Or, these are the fantasies that flash through the guy's mind as he strangles to death. |

And just as I thought that Liberals couldn't get any Weirder.

Admittedly that might just mean those reviewers were mainlining with pot needles before they watched the film |

I definitely want to see it but it better be chock full of symbolism that justifies all that nonsense or I'll be pissed.
Shit, I'll watch it.
Then again, I'll watch anything. I'd pay a buck 2-fifty to watch a monkey fuck a football. |

Don't ya think maybe he DID succeed in committing suicide, and this is just what goes through his mind at the end.

I don't know, at least it's original and not a remake of a remake. I would rather see fresh ideas instead of a remake of magnificent 7, or the 3rd/4th/5th/etc reboot of a comic book movie.

View Quote I thought that movie was fairly decent. A bit meh at times but overall good. |

Radcliffe is fortunate enough to do what he wants for the rest of his life, including Indie Films. As many as he wants. Until he dies.
Movie might be terrible, but it might be great. I'll give a go on Redbox or even better, free on Amazon or Netflix. |
ill watch it. i like "different" movies. better than the generic crap that Hollywood recycles.
He's a short weird brown haired man whose career has taken a turn for the worse, just like Elijah Wood.
As someone responded to my message, he's set for life. He can make any movie he wants and not worry about it.
