I'm giving him a case of Black Rifle Disease in the form of a 16" 1:8 middy. I'm keeping it simple with basic 6-position stock, carry handle, sling, and a pile of mags. Every boy needs a rifle.

No. See, as a responsible adult, I see it as my duty to test it all out beforehand to make sure he gets a fully functioning rifle. Yeah, that's it. :)

I did something similar for my step son last year. The step daughter's is already in the safe for Christmas 2017.
