.....Chick-fil-A plans between 15 and 20 new locations for Michigan, which Chick-fil-A plans to open by 2021. There are currently two food-court Chick-fil-A restaurants on the Oakland University Campus and at Detroit Metro Airport. As of Tuesday, the only other confirmed new location is planned for Troy's Somerset Collection...... Tasty, tasty hate chikn. Looks like I prayed just enough. |

After living in NC for 8 years, and now back in the mitten I am really stoked about this! We need more chicken biscuits for breakfast!

Arfcom GD: Fast "food" is for fatties! I won't poison my body with that shit. Oh, "hate chicken?" I'm going to buy up the entire lunch menu! Wooooo!.

Well, let's get to it!
A poutine chain is supposed to start opening restaurants in MI too! Finally some good fast food. |
|
There are a couple of Hate chikins that opened near me. The last time I had been to one was probably 7 or 8 years ago and all I can say is that the food was delicious. So much so I went back the next day.

Bout time OU had stuff to eat. Too bad I'm transferring to Ferris.
Another thing, OU has TRUMP 2016 written on the sidewalk right by the South Foundation Hall. Its actually still there and SJWs have poured water on the letters. There was dem slogans written by it, except they have been crossed out and a witty remark filled in. One such comment was "We need democratic socialism!" and it was crossed out followed by "=communism." There was even BLM stuff crossed out and labeled racist. Not every college kid is a dem. |

Hate Chicken is supposed to be coming to the Zoo' as well as Grand Rapids!!
I saw where the Southeastern corner Marxists and SJW's, were having a bitchfest about it on Mlive. Good Chicken is only an hour away..which might be a good thing. |
|
I would be elated if a 'hate' chicken opened in the Idaho panhandle, the closest is six hours driving round trip.

A chicken sandwich from chick-fil-a starts with actual, whole, refrigerated (not frozen) chicken breasts prepped, dredged, breaded, and fried on-site. |

Oh well, at least we have it down here too. |

So, fried food is OK as long as it is refrigerated meat instead of frozen? So, why are nearly all the folks clogging up traffic waiting on their food obese? It wouldn'thave anything to do with eating that shit every day, would it? |

Don't forget their closed on Sunday. Many times I have drove to get some only to get there an see that they are closed.

Why don't they open more here? My town would be a great place. Plenty people of the right character around here would be potential employees.

Yup. I had one at the airport on Friday. Like the biscuit better than the bun. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

The only Chick-fil-A currently accessible to me is only 10 minutes away in the Oakland University food court but I've never been because I don't feel like wading through a bunch of college students or trying to find a parking space on campus.
This news of new locations is good news for me. |

Am I the only one that was completely underwhelmed when I finally tried chick-f-a?

I think it's good (very good, even) for fast food, but it's not manna from heaven. I was initially a bit underwhelmed when I first went there, but given its convenience, I went back. After returning a couple of times and figuring out what I like, I've become a fan. I've also found that I enjoy the spicy chicken more than the regular chicken sandwich. |

Did you know that they refuse to use iceberg lettuce in any of their products? The reason is it has no nutritional value. They pay attention to that sort of thing.

I'm sad because this is in Michigan... And I want to see them open up CFAs in NY (besides just NYC) so my family can go there. |

I thought there was always one in the Westland mall?
Or am I thinking A&W? |

I'm sorry, but I have no idea why people rave about this sad excuse for a sandwich for any reason other than identity politics (and it's demonstrated in every thread, where people keep repeating the hate chicken meme): http://image.mlive.com/home/mlive-media/width960/img/citizenpatriot/photo/2016/04/19/-ca3a07aeed12e356.JPG That's just pathetic. Look at that sad thing. Honestly. It has to be one of the most overrated fast food joints in the country. The service is over the top fantastic (I'll give them that), but it really is a mediocre fucking sandwich. View Quote I think when most people think of a "chicken sandwich" they still think of the processed pressed chicken sandwich that they used to get in the high school cafeteria. When you think of it that way, a chicken sandwich that consists of chicken that still resembles an actual chicken breast and tastes halfway decent, you might start to understand the attraction. I don't think it's the best thing in the world, but in the realm of fast food, Chick-fil-a is no slouch. |

I don't think it's the best thing in the world, but in the realm of fast food, Chick-fil-a is no slouch. It's fried chicken breast (and not an awesome example of it, to be honest) slapped between two mega-mart grades of mediocre hamburger bun. I really, really, really don't understand the appeal. Oh, and it's salty as hell. It's waaaay over seasoned. I don't hate it (it's fast food and I get it), but people need to slow their roll a bit, when talking about it. I'm convinced it has little to do with the actual food, and more to do with identity politics. There has to be a reason that my leftie friends can't stand the place, and my conservative friends won't stop raving about it. That's a big 'ol clue right there. I can't think of a biomedical pathway for politics that alters the five senses of taste, know what I mean? |
