Waterfox (64-bit firefox fork). All add-ons work like they do in FF. FF also has a 64-bit build somewheres
I still use Chrome/Chrome Canary for the majority of my browsing. For whatever reason a lot of websites don't play nice with Chrome on Windows, but work fine on Chrome for OSX. Those sites get opened with WF on the Windows machine. |

I use Chrome on PC, Safari on OSX.
ETA: Chrome seems to run better than IE, especially the old versions that corporate IT always makes us run. At home, I have a Mac, and with Safari, my pages show up across all my devices. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Whichever one you like, because it doesn't matter half as much as people pretend it does. Install them all, use them for a while, and decide for yourself which one you like. It seriously doesn't matter.
I alternate between Firefox, Chrome, IE, Edge and Safari, depending on what I'm doing. I use Chrome the most. |

If yes, find the browser(s) that supports the extensions you want. If not, then use whatever. |

The primary reason I fire up Firefox on occasion, is because there are a couple extensions I occasionally want/need that aren't available in Chrome (which is what I use most of the time). Firefox Portable Edition
It walks and talks like regular Firefox. Doesn't install to your computer. It's just a file. Can be ran from a flash drive or transferred to another computer via flash drive. If your browser becomes corrupted, delete it and use a spare from your back-up files. |

I am forced to use Chrome at work. I hate it. At home I use Edge. It doesn't jam up all the time like Chrome and has a better button arrangement.

I use firefox as my main browser. If you have a ton of bookmarks you can export and import for seamless operation too.
I will be running Windows 7 until it is no longer supported. |

I mostly use Chrome and occasionally Edge.
If Edge was more friendly with extensions I'd probably mostly use Edge and occasionally use Chrome... Many years ago Firefox was my goto browser but when it got too bulky I dropped it for Chrome and haven't used it since. |

I default to FF on Windows and Chrome on Android. I don't use IE except on a few things that require it, and haven't touched Opera in maybe a decade. Haven't played with the third-party Mozilla builds like Waterfox.
Firefox has better keyboard navigation than chrome, and the address/"wonder bar" makes it really easy to recall pages you've been to -- if I start typing "ar" in the Firefox address bar the first choice for me is http://www.ar15.com/forums/subscriptions.html; in chrome it used to default to "search the web for ar", but it looks like chrome's behavior is getting closer to Firefox's in this regard. Chrome always seems to take longer to start up, though that may just because I do not use it frequently. On some older/slower computers Chrome seems to perform better than FF; it appears to have very aggressive memory management and is quick to flush idle tabs out of memory. Both are memory hogs. Chrome spawns more processes so seems to have a better chance dealing with a bad/crashed page without killing the whole browser. Crashes in Firefox seem to be caused most often by plugins, so maybe FF shouldn't share all the blame (still frustrating though). ... just my 2¢, worth less every day. |

Tor has been compromised I read that back when it came out and still put Tor as the most private/secure. It's not foolproof but if you're browsing the web like 90+% do, then it's a good fit. The weakness was discovered when users downloaded large files via Tor. Switch your connection identity every once in a while and don't route large files via Tor and you can maintain a very high level of anonymity. Someone downloading torrents via Tor is gonna be identified pretty easily. As for the exit nodes, anyone can run one. The more people that use Tor, the more robust and secure it becomes |
