I must have missed this if it was old news..was this guy a lurker or an honest-to-God member? So how did the parent come to the conclusion he was an Arfcommer?
"Instead, Remington markets these military killing machines to violence-prone young men without the training or mental health evaluation that even soldiers require. The company loans its brand to Call of Duty, the war-based video game that our shooter played fanatically, and advertises on websites such as AR15.com, which he also visited frequently." here |

I think it was rumored but I've never seen any confirmation.
Not that it makes one bit difference. |

Don't think if a dem gets elected they ain't gonna try to go after this site.

Tragically, the AR-15’s brutal capabilities make it the weapon of choice for mass murderers, including our shooter. Since 2001, there have been 11 mass shootings in America using an AR-15. There are many kinds of guns but few, if any, enable as much carnage. View Quote |

Even if it could be confirmed as true, how many different people have become paid team members, have joined as a user, have lurked for over a decade without joining, have browsed for years for technical discussions, or have just screwed around in GD to troll the shit out of us... AND HAVE NOT shot up a school as any sort of real consequence of that affiliation with this site?
That ought to have some consideration in the grand scheme of things. Although, with as many members and lurkers here we should statistically have at least 3 serial killers among all the IPs. Might be worthwhile for the FBI to check us all out. |

Screw them. There is one person responsible and that deviant is dead. Factor in his mom if you wish but she is also dead.
|

Dahmer visited department stores where they advertise and sell cutting utensils. That's probably why he murdered and ate those people.
We MUST hold the knife companies responsible. |

So, Soldiers require a mental health screen and 100 hours of training before they're issued an AR-15?
I guess when I was in BCT it was done all wrong... No mental health screen, no 100 hours of training before getting an "AR-15?" All I got was a beat to shit M16A2. |

I think there was one that posted on here in the technical forums.
I'm unsure of the name. |
|
Well at least we can rest assured the journalist that made that claim never saw any bikini photos while browsing GD.
PHEW. |

News media bullshit as usual using someones tragedy to further their agenda.
But I will say I know myself well enough to know that if I had a child of any age, but especially a grade school aged child murdered, Id be mad at everybody without there being any logic to it. |

View Quote Yeah, that's probably what I meant in the first part of my post. It was so long ago though. I've forgotten. ETA: My memory is a tricky thing. Wasn't it Cho that had browsed here too? One of the other nuts got us a tidbit of publicity as well. |

They always leave out the fact that the AR was 100% compliant with the CT AWB

He visited CT a lot too. We should probably ban CT. Maybe move all the residents to work camps in ND for their own safety.

Why would a website be responsible for what nut jobs do?
Any time people like him have a presence on the net, it is more likely he outs himself as a nut.. and people can get to him before he does a bad deed. |

It puzzles me that the FBI crime stats don't show any killings in that town for that year.
|
|
Honestly it wouldn't surprise me....there are a LOT of people on here (biggest gun forum on earth?), some are gonna be nuts. Doesn't really mean anything. Might as well say he was from Omaha.

Im not saying arfcom made him shoot up a school!!
Im just curious as to how the parent found out...and curious as to who he was (screen name?) |

I suppose the army didn't think homosexuals should shoot full auto. |

Instead of wasting hot air about a rifle, Maybe they should go after big pharma for putting these people on psych meds?
Beat's me. Your guess is just as good as mine. |
