I love this board but I don't see what the big deal is with jacking up your post count. Do you get prize or some sort of reward for a high count? Or is it just some way to massage your own ego?

Massaging one's own ego. Some judge themselves by the size of their muscles, some by the size of their firearms, still others by the size of their member. And then there are those for whom a large post count is an overriding concern.

in-after-the-first-lock-and-before-the-second-lock

from some post that locked-unlocked and relocked a while back.
