I think Bendover bought one 6 or so months ago, and is doing extensive [s]updates[/s] renovations. Maybe he'll see this post.

Yeah, I am the [s]sucker[/s] proud owner of a 100 year-old brownstone. It's going slowly and has been repeatedly delayed because of the weather. We're still doing demolition in the basement. By my best calculations, it's going to take us 3 years to get it done.

Geez...this is going to date me but I know a lady name of Alice up in Stockbridge, Mass. who lives in one. Took the pews out and everything. Some friends had a bit of a problem one day takin' out the trash though...[;D]

I lived in an old barn that had been converted into a really nice house when I was a kid in New Joisey.

I was looking to see how you were doing on the rehab. You said 3 years so I thought you should be holding SUNDAY service in there by now. A collection plate would help ...[;D] Think about it the Church of BENDOVER. ouch |

I need to pass the collection plate to start paying for the damn thing. We're not even 'constructing' yet and I've got $40K in the rehab.... and that's just structural and the basement. I have to get that all fixed and sealed before I start pounding nails. [:(]
