I put another 100 rounds through the Glock last night.
I also rented a 226, considering how highly it is spoken of here on the board. They also had a 320, which, upon comparing the 226 w the smaller G19, is the one I should have rented. It's all good. The 226 is definitely a nice piece of kit and smooth and accurate. Good gun to have in the harem. I'll rent the 320 next. ======================= Had a chance to finger some handguns at the gun show today, many that were mentioned in this thread. I ended up getting a Glock 19 G4. I had four G19 clipazines from a previous G3 plus I have the night sights HiPower next. ============ Original Post: What I've had so far: Glock 19, gen 3 Smith M&P 92FS 92F Compact (should have kept this one) Browning HiPower I'm leaning toward an Aim Surplus HiPower but before I do ........ what are the more popular 9mms out there? I've never had a Sig. eta: forgot some |

Just picked up a FN FNS-9 Longslide. Very happy so far. 17rd mags, and with a base pad extender, 23rds.

Another vote for P320. Excellent factory trigger for the striker fire category.

CZ 75b.
I bought one, then I got rid of my Glock 17. Then I bought a CZ 75 Compact. Just sold my Glock 19. Which was the first pistol I bought for myself. Get a CZ. They're more ergonomic than Glocks, have a great trigger (that you can make better), and they are crazy accurate. |

While my EDC is a Kahr CW9 just for concealability, I do love me some Glocks. If I were to carry a non-Glock double stack though, it would probably be my FN FNS-9. Hard to go wrong with Sig or HK either though.

Get one of the new supressor ready CZs.
Specifically the alloy framed CZ P-01 with elevated night sights, interchangeable trigger components and a threaded barrel. http://cz-usa.com/product/cz-p-01-?-urban-grey-suppressor-ready-omega/ Then get yourself a nice small can to impress your friends and intimidate your enemies. http://www.silencerresearch.com/degroat_nano_vs_thompson_machine_poseidon.htm It's not the answer to the question you asked, it's the answer to the question you should have asked |

Baby Eagle. View Quote It's either a +1 for the baby eagle or a plus 1 for the vp9. Every time I shoot one I proclaim that this is my favorite 9mm. As a matter of fact, when I started typing I was leaning towards the baby eagle but as I conclude this statement I firmly believe the vp9 is my favorite. (I think) |
