Yes, I know there is a sub for knives but I see cool shit posted here in GD by people who aren't in the sub then forget what the title of the thread was and then get bored trying to search through every random knife related thread in GD.

This is what I usually carry for long bike rides:

A waved Spyderco Delica and a Kwaiken by Dynamik Blades aka Smithy

Whatever you do don't buy a CRTK Squid. Bought one since I wanted something reasonably small. It lost its edge in about a week. I think I only cut maybe two or three cardboard boxes with it. I can't even cut tape with it now. It's going to be my tester on the 1" sanding belt to sharpen.

Never thought of scotch Brite. I just got used to the handles having "character". I do know if you send your Sebenza back to CRK fir the free spa treatment they'll re bead blast the scales like new.

One of the cool things about that knife is how idiot proof it is.

Insanely tight tolerances and smoothness but user serviceable.

Here's mine getting clean after being used as a garden implement or dropped while fishing or something

Yep. Perforated and up against very smooth Ti with a very light lube

I keep two in my pockets and a bunch at home. The days plans dictate what I carry

Or sometimes it's just whatever looks cool that day

Recycled pic but what I've got in my pockets.

I have more knives but these are the ones I mainly use. My Swiss Army Knife goes with me everywhere in the little pocket of my jeans, then i have one of the others too  Lately I've been carrying the Benchmade Pardue the most, and the Triage is what I take hiking.

The PM2 is a great knife. Its been my EDC almost exclusively for around 4 years. I just got a new BM 530 though so I've been carrying it lately.

I have one and mainly use it to open letters.

It's fun to play around with, but I would look at something else if you want a tough knife to really use.

I've been carrying the CRKT BT-70 lately.  It's like carrying a very slim brick.  I love it.

I'm assuming you're talking about the SAK.

The sebenza is a hell of a working knife. The high hollow grind makes it greatfor cutting, the grip is wwell suited for working with no hot spots, rock solid lock up and it's stainless so even if you use it to gut fish it won't rust

It's why I bought my son one as a first folder, it's dead simple and reliable

Plus I've noticed the more you beat on them the prettier they get

Nice. I usually carry a Spyderco stainless Police. But if I'm wearing shorts I'll clip on my Tatanka. I love it, but man! The real estate that's taken up! Pretty much makes the pocket useless when wearing jeans. I'm still on the fence about buying the Spyderco Vallaton, another hefty but beautiful blade.
Oh, the Tatanka is a heffer at 9.2oz.
