seems now a days things seem to fall apart at the first < or 198866th > whack.

What happened to the days when a computer took a licking and keep on ticking?

I'm not a "computer guy". I freely admit this.
However, I have learned that slamming the mouse on top of the desk repeatedly and violently while shouting "I'll cut your fucking heart out!!!!!" does *NOT* unlock a locked up computer.

I've got a bit of a temper, especially when I was young.  I broke a lot of stuff.

I'm on my notebook now, however, the couple of times I've been pissed for some reason at it, I always do everything possible to avoid damaging it.  It's rather new and at 2000 bucks, I don't intend on messing it up.

I have slammed the mouse on my desktop PC before, but I've calmed down a lot nowadays.
