The Truth About Charlie was, all in all, a pretty good movie.  Thandie Newton was an exellent choice for the lead role, and even the fact that that assclown Tim Robbins is in it didn't spoil things for me.  That being said, Charade, starring Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant, is a better film and I would recommend that you, at the very least, watch both of them.

Nay on the movie. It's a much inferior remake of "Charade". Yeah, like Mark Whalberg is going to compare to Cary Grant, or anyone to Audrey Hepburn, or the replacements are going to compare to Walter Mathau or James Coburn, or a modern score is going to compare to Henry Mancini's.

The original is a little goofy, but it's got a lot of talented people in it. The remake is just a mediocrity.
