How Many Sodas A Day Do you Drink and what do you call it in your neck of the woods? Like in the northeast they call it pop. In the north they call it coke. Out west they call it soda.

I call it soda and have about 3 a day.

We call it soda here. The water from our resevoir tastes like crap due to all the chemicals they put in it so I drink sodas almost exclusively. I go through about one 2-liter bottle per day.

There is no "0". I do not drink soda, or pop.

It's pop, and I chose the last option because you didn't add a line for zero.

Haven't had pop in a few years. It's beer, coffee, water, or (if I'm feeling gay) red wine or black tea for me.

I used to slam TOO many every day until I decided to lay off it about a month ago.   Now I average maybe one every other day at most.

Really, I feel better.  For one thing, MY BLOOD PRESSURE IS DOWN AND STAYING DOWN.   I'm also less excitable and seem to have a longer attention span.

I certainly feel a difference, and it's a difference for the better.

Everyone should try going without for about two straight weeks and see what a difference it makes.

Way, way too much.  I probably consume about 750 - 1000mg a day in caffine.  That's a 20oz cup of coffee and a minimum of 6 diet Cokes.  But considering it is my only serious vice, and if I quit I get splitting headaches and lethargic, well, I'll keep self medicating thank you very much.

None! I only drink water. Water is the only thing that really tastes good to me. I will drink orange juice or a beer once in a great while. I am so use to drinking water all the time that anything else will not quench my thirst, it just makes me more thirsty.

Maybe 1 a week, if at all.

I've kicked my 24 pack a day habit...

ADDED: Oh, and I make the distinction between my drinks instead of stereotyping them.

Less than one a day. More like one, or maybe, two a week. Dropped the one (or more)-a-day habit a couple of years ago.

I grew up in SW Nebr. and we called it pop. Most in western Colo. seem to call it soda.

I'm from NYC and we never called it "pop".  Some of my upstate friends call it pop and when I went to school out in Oregon most people called it pop.

I used to drink 5 or 6 a day, started a low carb diet and now it's only diet soda.  Helps keep the weight off.

Soda, in my case Dr Pepper.  I try and hold myself to 120 ounces a day. I don't touch any other form of sugar. No donuts, cakes, candy, etc.

Related note,  I don't touch coffee. Nastiest stuff on the planet.  Can't even stand the smell.

Iced tea, (Sweet please)  with meals, but that's a cultural thing here.

Ten 12 ounce sodas a day?

Do you realize that there are like twelve spoons of sugar in each 12 oz. can?   120 spoons of sugar a day is sure to eventually send your pancreas into a PANIC.

You should back off because my father says that shoving needles into your ass each day to stay alive isn't exactly fun.  (Insulin, for diabetes.)

Once I found out how much sugar is in a soda, I stopped feeling guilty about dumping "only" five packs of sugar into a glass of iced tea in a restaurant.

Since backing my Pepsi habit down to less than one a day on average,  I feel better and my weight is already coming down.  Try it.

Being an "Army Brat" I've traveled the states and it's hard adapting to the dialect, you just get used to the way you're supposed to sound compared to your peers and then boom your moving somewhere else... The pop/soda thing always puts me up for a good ribbing among friends, it's pop here in Ohio [;)]

Same here.

I voted for "Whats a soda? Do you mean pop?" because you didn't have my answer: "I don't drink soda/coke/pop/etc"

you didn't even have "less than one" for the people who only have one every couple of days or so.
