I said Starbucks, but only because over the years I have had it a couple of times. You should have had Gas Station Coffee as an option. I usally only get coffee at home, or a gas station, sometimes McDonalds,[Homer J.] ummm McDonalds is good, must have McDonalds[/Homer J.]

Berres Brothers

flavor? Highlander Grog.

No shit...it's the best I have tasted so far. Berres Brothers is located in Watertown Wisconsin. And they have a lucrative buisiness.

7-11 because you can make it exactly the way you want it.  And the Freedom Vanilla creamer rocks.  Heck if you screw it up you can just toss it.

Peet's.
Then Dietrich's.
Then my neighbor's espresso.

Though good and acceptable, Starbucks and McDonald's are really just OK in comparison to the winners listed above.

Peet's, of course.

McDonald's coffee is also great.  We were off-roading and camping and my GF made me drive for 2 arduous off-road hours to get her back to civilization for some McDonald's coffee.  15 minutes later her constipation was relieved.

WHen I read this I realize I am really a coffee snob.

I got into gourmet coffe about 12-13 years ago before it became fashionable. I like coffee from an obscure coffee company and if I told you their name i'd have to kill you [:D]

StarSucks is o.k. for somethings like their Tazo Berry & Creme, etc.. but not really what i'd consider to be good gourmet coffee but alright I guess.

All of this talk about coffee brings back memories of jury duty. One juror when told about starbucks by another juror said the same thing I just posted. Despite her liberal anti views I had to like her for that one!

IHOP has great coffee...and they leave the fooking pot at your table so you can drink till you can't even hit your cakehole with your fork anymore.

Starbucks has great coffee too...but damn...its as expensive as buying booze at a club.

I also have to throw in Veritas coffee. Never had it but it makes for a great joke with the fellow Solaris Admins.

Amen!  You will never get a better cup than what you roast yourself.  If you haven't tried it, the Tanzanian Southern Peaberry from www.sweetmarias.com is outstanding.

I like the local roaster called Kaladi Brothers.  Their coffee's goodd and all their barristas are trained by the same person to make coffee consistently the same way.  They could make LT's Americano just how he wanted it the first time perfectly, just by his asking for it (a lot of barristas dont know even know the lingo and get confused if you ask for a specifically made espresso drink). I dont like Starbucks because all their beans are over-roasted and have a nasty taste to them.

So I like a tall Americano with about an inch room for cream just to cool it down.

I hate any coffee that's sat on the burner for more than 20 minutes. It starts to change the acidity level, and consequently tastes like shit.  That said, my brew is either White Castle (yeah, go ahead and laugh, but it's really good) and Starbucks house blend (only ground and brewed by me, of course).  I always double the dose in the pot.  If I'm only making a half pot of Starbucks HB, I still use a whole pots worth of grounds.  It's about the consitancy of Guinness, and could take paint off your car.  MMMMMMM goood.
