If he's smart he'll nominate some Rhino-type Republican like Kennedy. Then, if the Republican won't appoint him, Obama can point out how unreasonable the Reps are.

I actually think it is a brilliant strategy- Nominate the one guy who could get America back on track Keep his thoughts off the Prez running , keeping him split, distracted If Cruz accepts, it looks like a win for FBHO.
