Pre-2008 I frequently felt like Juan was actually a semi reasonable guy. I remember seeing him on Fox quite a few times back then and I wasn't even entirely always sure if he was on the left or right. Once Barry was elected he became a hardcore shill for the left and nothing more.

I liked Bob Beckel a lot more. Bob was a tool, but he wasn't an actor like Juan is. Bob said what Bob believed, not what the role he was playing was supposed to say. Plus, Beckel was extremely entertaining when he was pissed off.
