I love the idea of the six second mount, but would like to use a vortex venom with it. They offer an RMR version, so I'm curious if it's possible to mount the venom to this piece?

Venom uses the same mounting footprint as the Burris Fastfire.

I have the Venom, but I used the base that came with it. Looks like this.

Yeah, the rear sight bases would be the way to go on the Venom and Viper sights. None of that series of Vortex use the RMR footprint.
