I dumped the VP9 and went back to my Walther P99.
The Walther has a shorter re-set, and a much crisper and lighter trigger. Both guns are accurate, but the Walther is easier to conceal and I can shoot it faster. The VP9 is an excellent gun, but the Walther is a better pistol. The Glock is ok, but I don't care for the brass ejecting all over the place including into my face, plus the grip feels like shit and the trigger is mushy and heavy and if you lighten it, it will have a mile of creep Fuck dat..

My vp9 will not cycle cheaper ammo. It's fine with federal but it fails to go into battery 3-4 times a mag with Maxxtech ammo(cheap). Now seeing this vid.... I'm even less impressed

The VP9 is the finest combat pistol I have ever shot. I have been shooting glocks for over 15 years and own/owned them all.
Stock to fully worked over custom guns, I would take the VP9 over any of them. For whatever reason, its an absolute laser and stacks rounds with ease. I really could care less what some mouthbreather small sample size backyard test says. HK guns just plain work. If I could own 1 handgun to take to hell and back, it would be a VP9. Yet to have one malf between 3 guns with about 7k rounds combined. Yes that is a small sample, but more than enough confidence for these 3 guns. Bonus is an amazing trigger and easily conceals IWB. Glock 19 & 26's just get left at home now. Probably should start selling them and buy some more VP9's. I think a half dozen would do. |

You know owning glocks since before 2000, There was like a year or 2 the brass to the face issue was present. It was fixed and there is a small cheap part that fixes it. Glocks also have a good, reliable trigger. They get better with age. Every single glock you pick up has an easy to learn, easy to use repeatable trigger. From a G34 down to a little G26, the trigger is consistent. Anyone who can't shoot well with a glock or doesn't like it has a problem between their ears. It has been the gold standard for almost 30 years for a reason. People just like to bitch a moan about irrelevant shit. |

Welcome I own more glocks & M&Ps (for the GF, she likes the frail gimmicky shit) than HK's. So If anything I'm a Glock/KAC fanboy. I own a bunch of HK's, reliability wise there is nothing that comes close, however their triggers just plain suck. DA/SA or LEM, they fucking suck. VP9 takes the durability of HK and makes it easy to shoot. I have let over a dozen people shoot mine and they all are highly impressed. Its the most accurate (or easiest to shoot accuratley) handgun I have ever owned, and there is some pretty impressive company in there. I'm taking a 4 day vickers class in June and should put another 12-1500 rounds through the VP9. Interested to see how it stacks up to the glocks/M&P's/ect in the class. |

I can destroy ANY gun by throwing it with the right amount of force, in the right area against a hard surface. It would not even enter my mind to do something this stupid. For reference, this last summer I was on a camping/cannoe trip and had my VP9 on me. It spent ALOT of time under water and wasn't cleaned/lubed for over a week. Shot the piss out of it and it was flawless (with zero rust). No I didn't put it in a bucket, freeze it and drop it out of a plane. Which scenario do you think is more realistic for someone carrying a VP9? |

I own all of them though thanks to a settlement with someone and I got some bucks. So I have carried my P2K9 for 9 years with several different BUGs. For the past year I've gone to a Shield as my BUG and I may keep it. I put an RMR on a M&P Core. I have a P2Ksk coming in so I'll compare that with the Shield and perhaps a VP9 with an RMR. It will be fun as there are really no bad guns in the group. |

I've seen what I need to see, my G19 is just fine, glad I sold my HK45 years ago...HK hates me anyway, their gun was a pain to clean and their mags a fucking rip If a glock had failed any of these tests, I would still call it retarded bull shit. Also, how the fuck is this a pain to clean, lmao

The test was a little over the top towards the end with the tossing. But the vp9 choking after being submerged in a puddle is unacceptable. I would even give it a pass in the mud and grit test because you could hear it grinding In the slide, but the water puddle.. You gotta be kidding me..
