Some of the pics were taken in an Arms room, which is in a basement. Most of the rest were taken at 3am in a plywood seahut in Kosovo.

A few of the weapons have had Bowflage added, which looks great at first but then starts to look like crap. You can get away with doing mods to your weapons provided you use gov't parts, but these are ussually tightly controlled. OF course, that's for SOF. In "legLand" they will probably get mad at you if you put on a different sling or something. .

Great site and like the photos!
Navy question: at an air show there was a CAR15 on display and from what I heard it's different from the M4. What are the differences and why don't you have one of those on display. Sorry, I'm not an AR expert and the question might be maaningless. |

The old XM-177 type carbine was often called a CAR-15 by soldiers. IT is Vietnam era. Basically it had a 10.5" or 11.5" barrel and a 4.5" flash hider. They did not really last long. I actually saw one still in service in 1996 with the Air Force. I don't have a picture because I never took one, I never really thought about taking pics of guns I saw until recently. But maybe I will run into one again.
