Couldnt afford to buy this as a complete set so I bought and sourced each part throughout the year whenever I had extra funds.
I'm not an electronics guy but it was cool to learn how to use a multimeter to check on the voltage of the power supply
Also learned how to use a soldering iron to wire up the heatbed.
It's a Mendelmax 1.5 with an upgraded Y rail.
My goal is to prototype some rifle chassis parts for my Rem 700 SA and 10/22 and then hook up with my CNC guy to produce it in metal form.
My wife also is excited since she does baking on the side and it would be useful for her to make custom font cutters and negative molds to create cartoon characters.
Just need to figure out the wire management and get familiar with the firmware and calibration.
I also want to teach my 5 year old on 3D modeling so he can design his own toys to play with
I'm thinking of designing some battleships, destroyers and aircraft carrier he can play with during his bath
