I was born in the 80's so I didn't get to party in the greatest decade ever, but INXS sounds like it would have been a hell of a band to party to..

Way back when sure I listened to them, on the radio. I never purchased any of their stuff.
Shame that Michael Hutchence killed himself though. |

Still listen to it. |

I worked for a local bay area band in the mid 80's that opened for them at the old Kabuki Theater in SF. The band I worked for pretty much got booed off the stage but INXS was really on top of their game and played a great show. They guys were great, very cool. Their crew were a bunch of guys that looked like a pro rugby team. Needless to say there was a fucking epic after-show party.

Only band ive ever seen in concert - Nov 1993. I was 17; feel old now.
|

I like them. Damn, good memories are coming back as I listen to the clips above. I was a teenager in the 80s. A lot of great music & not a care in the world, a great decade to be a teen. I'd give almost anything to relive the 80s, knowing what i know now of course...
BTW, getting old sucks... |
|
I liked some stuff I'd hear on the radio, but never went to their shows or bought their albums.

They had some decent songs, but what an embarrassing way to go.
|
|
saw them live (1983) fantastic concert, Michael Hutchence was quite the frontman.

Liked the band.
Saw them live in 1988 while I was going to college in Maryland. John Lydon's Public Image Ltd. opened for them. Both bands were great live. |

INXS's music helped define the 80's I feel bad for those who did not got to experience that time period
