i mean he already got paid-anyway I watched about 2/3s and kind of lost interest. For a guy who melted down all his guns he has no problems playing an amoral man who murders people with guns.


He's supposed to be some kind of former special forces contractor working with some doctors without borders thing but when he gets the wink he kills some African bureaucrat without blinking an eye. There's no "you better kill this guy or we'll kill your girlfriend" just " hey go kill this guy" and he shrugs like they asked him to make a beer run for Big Oil.




I suppose there are "Evil SEALs" out there, but I think the plot plays into how these Hollywood douches view the world, like some retired army guy doing body guard work is just going to leap behind a bolt gun and start shooting babies in carriages if told to do so




The shooting makes no sense either, although I guess I know nothing about assassinating third world bureaucrats. They have three shooters, but leave it a mystery who is going to shoot until the last second. Then the shooter has to immediately flee the country ( plot device involving why he dumps girlfriend)




So everyone knows this hard as nails former green beret sniper super killer is working security in the area, someone gets shot in a moving motorcade from a skyscraper with a .338 and then steely eyed killer guys disappears without even a "I left the iron plugged in back in my apartment in Schenectady" No one is going to add that up and talk about it.


 

Anyway Penn aside it got bad reviews, I think someone from Taken was involved and it is kind of similar. There were A few decent fights. Penn runs around with an acu assault pack, very low profile for such a high speed ninja. He should have had a blackwater cap and infidel t shirt. He shoots a lot of people despite supposedly hating gun violence. I don't know why anyone should care that this turd who shot an innocent man and threw a country into violent revolution is someone we should root for. The guy is an ass who deserves a bullet to the noggin

Oh  and he's dying of tinnitus

He better spend it fast the amount of hgh or steroids or whatever he's shooting up to look like captain America at his age
