First earthquake?
Mine was 10 years ago. It was a 2.0 It shook my bed in the middle of the night. I woke up and said "Wow, that was an earthquake". Then went back to sleep. The worst day was a couple years ago. 6 in one day. |

In 6th grade I sat through a 6.8 and didn't feel a thing while the rest of my class freaked out
I used to never feel them.
In subsequent years I've managed to feel a couple in the 3-4 range. Last one was real freaky, low rumble for a couple seconds then it felt like my bed dropped straight down a couple feet, it was only a 3.0. |

My wife felt it sitting on the couch. I was up getting food in the kitchen and didn't feel a thing. I heard the roof shaking though. Thought someone was running across the roof. Earthquake was not the first thing that came to mind.
