I am close to pulling the trigger and getting my next lower built.  This seems like a good deal.

My other lower is a RRA with the two stage trigger so it would be nice for the consistency.

What does the hive think?

Sorry, didn't want to break any rules or be accused of advertising for RRA.

Those triggers have had problems for years, and they know it.

I've seen several of them, including the 1st one I bought, that hang up the BCG until you let it reset.

Then there are the ones that are shot in high volume that lose their sear surfaces after a certain round count.

No wonder they are giving them away.

Since I am poor, I have 2 uppers and 1 lower.

The lower is a RRA with 2 stage.  I have a 6.5 Grendel and a .50 Beowulf upper.

Between the 2 uppers I am over 5000 rounds.  Not one hiccup yet.

That's a good price for what they've cost over the last 5 years.  I built several rifles with RRA 2-stage parts kits.

They will charge you $15 for shipping.  Watch and see.

I have one that was given to me.  Let off is unpredictable, and gets closer to a single stage with every use.  Not sure how many cycles it has on it, but I'm thinking it was more than 5000 before I got it.

That is a good price and it is a good trigger. It certainly isn't as light as my SSA-E but it is smooth and beats the hell out of a milspec unit.

Except I want to change out the gas block and handguard on my grendel upper.

Poor, but you can afford 5000 rounds between 6.5 Grendel and .50 Beowulf?    I want to be your kind of poor!

Mine gave out in about 900 rounds.

While RRA's warranty service is good I decided to go with a Geissele SSA

More than that. They really rip you off with shipping. That is why they don't list the shipping charges when you order.

I have several RRA 2 stage triggers in use, including one in a dedicated .22 LR upper. They all work great so far. I use them as a cheaper alternative to Geissele, which are better. $75 vs. $200...I bought them used off the EE also and they still work. But, tomorrow, they may break on me so who knows.

We sell tons of them and during the Obama rush sold plenty of guns with that trigger installed . The only failure that we had come back to us was a hammer broke off. This was a gun used in three gun for a few years so maybe that had something to do with it ? Rock river arms replaced it no questions asked they have great service.

huh, first thread I've seen with reports of problems with these.  As far as hanging up on the bolt carrier, I know the older ones need a bit of filing on the top of the hammer to function in .308 rifles.  I like mine but admittedly don't have more than 500 rounds on one.

ETA: These were all the rage here in 2006 when I joined.  I have two of them in guns.  They are both older versions.  So my guns gonna blow up?

I read somewhere that they can't handle the harsh blowback recoil from 22 conversion kits.

I have one in my beater lower and it is a lot nicer than stock. I don't use the conversion kit with it.
