Weighed 307 at Christmas, walked into the army recruiters last thursday, weighed in at 240 clothed and passed tape for my age (27).
Now the fun part, a fucking waiver for a underage possession of Alcohol ticket from over 10 years ago. Hoping for the best, expecting the worst. I want 12B or 12N with airborne. Update 11/3- ASVAB scheduled for 11/10. Time to hit the book. |

Awesome. Can you get misdemeanors expunged in FL? That might be an option?

Good deal man!
Hey, do your recruiter a favor, keep working on losing inches and poinds, I'm going to guess that between the moral wavier and job slot availability, you've got another 6-12 months before you ship to basic. |

Did some time as a recruiter. Are you really sure you got that ticket? Lol, would do some tactical probing with local record checks and online databases that your state may have.

That's the plan, have 2-3 months for the waiver process I'm told. Ticket was in NC and supposedly expunged, but recruiters says that's not a word to them. |

Cut out carbs from your dinners too and the weight will fall off you. Good luck, bro. You're really gonna get smoked when you enter your barracks on day one. Don't volunteer for shit. |

When I took my physical for the Navy back in 1978, I was 17 years old, 6-feet tall, and weighed 132 lbs.
I needed to be 135 lbs to pass minimum. Dr. William L. Savage handed me a quart beaker and told me to go fill it up twice with water, drink it all, don't go to the restroom, and meet him back at the scales in 15 minutes. I passed... |

Max Push ups/sit ups.
Then shoot for between 14:00 to 15:00 2 mile. |

Congratulations. Just be aware that you will have to continue to maintain body composition standards throughout your time in service. This will be extremely easy in basic training, harder in AIT, and a LOT harder at your permanent duty station. I don't mean to put a damper on things, I've just seen too many people who lost a shitload of weight to get into the military put some or all of it back on and subsequently get booted. Good luck!

Yea, I've got to keep up with a better routine, several years of living in remote camps surrounded by food and wintertime excuses caught up with me hard back home in Alaska.
