i prefer electric OPE but in your case I'd get a sthil.

Whatever you buy get a solid driveshaft.  I have a Stihl, can't remember the model # at the moment, but without a solid driveshaft when you hit stumps, etc you might have problems.

I looked at a Husky Brushcutter, but it was close to $1K.  Then again, I don't buy any homeowner garbage now.  Get the pro series Sthil or Husky or you're getting glorified Poulan.

I have the Stihl FS 130 with a brush blade, works like a champ.
