With onions and i cannot stand liver.

Think i am going to fry up some moose meat with taters,onions and carrots.

Update

Sorry for not posting them last night.

Had to pump all the rain water out of my boat and it took awhile.

Liver first.

Wife fried them with a pancake batter and the onions last.

My moose fry.

Did not have any carrots to add.

But let me get this straight. You'll gladly eat rotted fish that's fermented in pits in the ground or fat mixed with weird shit found in mouse holes that mice processed with their filthy hanta-virus laden mouths, but you won't eat a delicious meal of liver and onions?

Are you eating the liver because you have already eaten the rest of the moose? Is the grocery store closed and or 5000 miles away? Are you a bad hunter and can't find a rabbit or something better to eat?

I have never had big animal liver.

My father puts all the giblets in the gravy for thanksgiving turkey and it is most delicious!

But I would like to actually try liver. But I am not going to order it at a restaurant, nor buy it not knowing how to cook it.

One day my friends will have it and I will get my own opinion on how it tastes.

Sounds good to me.

Sliced not too thick, soaked in milk for a little while and then fried in butter just a bit on each side.

Waiting to see how it's cooked up there.

You would have a rough go at my house, we put onions in everything. My grandfather ate raw red onions like most people would eat apples. I tried beef liver once because my dad swore it was inedible. I didn't care for it. Lamb liver is excellent. I'd be willing to give beef liver another shot with a different recipe.
