I recently got an LG G Pad F 7.0 and I would like to get a case for it. Any recommendations on places to shop? Are there types/brands I should avoid? I've never owned a tablet before so I have no idea. Thanks!

Amazon has best prices.

ETA: As far as what type, it kind of depends on how you use your tablet. If you're going to use it as a basic browsing device, maybe while walking around, one with a hand loop on the back is nice, if you're going to watch a lot of video on it, one with a kickstand so you don't have to hold it is nice. Definitely get something with a non skid material if you have big dogs or kids. I like a screen protector also. Came in very handy when I was drunk one night and dropped mine off the second story balcony, straight to the screen. Screen shattered, but didn't leave glass everywhere, and I was able to have it repaired.

We went with the Logictech case and keypad for our iPads. Only regret is not getting the backlit keypad.

I got the Zagg Folio with the keyboard for my ipad mini. Found it marked down at Walmart for around $50. Makes a good case. Kind of turns it into a little laptop. Keys are backlit but the keyboard doesn't seem to want to stay connected all the time. Also doesn't seem to work with all apps. Glad I didn't pay around $100 for one when I first wanted it.

Well the GPad was free, so it's enough for now. I'm not even 100% sure what I'm going to use it for to be honest.

Same here.  Thing's rugged as hell.

Amazon and ebay will have the biggest selection for the non Apple or Samsung tablets.

I don't think Speck, Lifeproof, or Otterbox make one for the G Pad.

"2nd tier" manufacturers I've used with decent products are Poetic or i-Blason.
