My sister sent me some dramatic video footage this morning of a boat on Lake George, ( upstate NY) where apparently it exploded into flames after refueling at a marina just down from the cabin she was staying at Tuesday evening. She started videoing moments after hearing the explosion. In the video you can hear a man screaming in pain as he jumped into the lake on fire. The man ended up with 60% burns over his body. There was also a teenage boy with burns, but his were minor according to my Niece who works in th
I don't know why I can't post videos, what the heck am I doing wrong?

boat fires are scary stuff. Usually fuel vapor gets down it the hull and blows up. They can go from calm waters to raging explosion and inferno pretty fast.

Too many people don't know or bother to run their bilge blower sufficiently before starting.
Or use automotive grade electrical parts that aren't sealed. |
