If I had 1200 to spend on just an optic I'd get a trijicon acog of some sort

I always felt the acogs were kinda heavy for what they were.
Maybe go with an accupoint in what ever magnification your like? If not the razor would be my choice, especially considering what they retail for |

I'm going to say get a simple 4x or 1-6x Kahles or S&B
Got one of the new Trijicon Accupower scopes, and it works, but seems cheap compared to those. |

Weren't there a few threads on here about the scar heavy being real hard on optics? See alot of them with acogs , not too many with vortex's.

I have several ACOGs and a Vortex Razor 1-6x. Depends on how you plan to use the rifle.

I have the TA11H in a Larue mount on my .308 AR.
I'd probably get the vortex.
