This winter it would run fine then stop producing heat, but the fan kept running and would not shut off blowing. Pulling the main breaker reset the unit and it would heat again. The coil is clean, and the filters were clean. Also no obstructions in the duct work. Figured I would replace the other parts while I was in there, ( probably not necessary) Thanks for all the questions! |

Sounds more like a bad limit. The pressure switch is to ensure the induced draft motor is working. When you say fan is running, You mean the blower motor not the small induced draft motor, correct?

that is a 165 degree limit.if it has been getting that hot and locking out, it will run indoor fan constantly.
heat exchanger needs to be looked at by professional for your safety. |

I would get a tech to check the heat exchanger before winter gets here. With the age of the unit it is possible to have a rust hole or crack, I see several a year out of this series that need replaced.
