The beloved star of such films as That Darn Cat, Blackbeard's Ghost and The Love Bug.  He had more money than he knew what to do with and spent it on lavish homes, fast Italian sports cars, and exotic vacations.

Devoted Christian and Navy veteran.

The Love Bug movies of the late 60's and early 70's- a time vortex to a simpler America.

Man, another piece of my childhood, poof, gone.  When I was a kid, him and Fred MacMurray were my two favorite adult actor type guys.

Rest in peace Mr. Jones.

I know there aren't a bunch of Broadway fans here, but his work on Sondheim's "Company" is exceptional.  It drove him to suffer a breakdown, but he was awesome in that role.
