Probably a coincidence but up here in NH a lady was gunned down while taking a walk in Manchester, NH.  It appears to be a random killing.  Witnesses reported:

"Police continue to focus on what’s been described as a dark-colored pickup truck from the mid-2000s, possibly of a rust-colored tone. It was driven by a white man in his 20s or 30s with close-cropped hair, wearing a white tank top."

This afternoon a police cruiser was shot at and crashed in Millis, MA.  That is on the outskirts of Boston.

The vehicle was described as:

"Police were searching for a dark maroon Chevrolet pickup or van, according to the radio reports. There were at least two white men in the vehicle."
