Well, of course it does.
This entire thing was a setup by the useless Senate GOP leadership. They voted to change the rules on this treaty from normal procedure to favor Obama, and now they're going "We just don't have the votes to stop Obama! He's and the Dems are just so mean!" It's failure theatre. |

What about the redline?____________________________________________________________________________________

Thanks Corker! Way to flip the 2/3 treaty majority into a 1/3. Failure Theater, it's what the GOPe does Best! |

Who crossed over?
Driving to work this morning they said they were one Senator short of enough votes. |

I'm sure the usual suspects will come in here and tell us about how great a deal this was.

Unfortunately, the only silver lining that is left in this whole mess that the fucktard in the white house led us to is this:
History will remember him as a failure. Assuming, we make it long enough for history to get there. |

Don;'t worry - when we make the next 10-20 concessions before WWIII - it will still be Bushes fault.

The GOP "old dogs" suck! They are really Demos in disguise and need to be kicked out of office. Boner could have utilized the nuclear option, but didn't have the guts or integrity.
Vote for Ted Cruz in 2016! He is the real deal and the only candidate who can and will save America! |

I think when push comes to shove Israel will take care of business over there if they have to

Might be easier at this point to just let Iran have a few of our nukes. Hell we can fly 'em over on Russian jets.
|
|
We've all known for some time now that iranian backed terrorist organizations would eventually get their hands on an obama sponsored nuke, so my questions is, how powerful it will be?

Who is going to the Stop Iran Deal rally on the 9th?
We can still affect change. And if not, we can be the spark. |

At least with the 'Rats, you know where you stand. They're out to get you, but they have the decency to let you know they're out to get you. Except for Cruz, Lee, Cotton and few others, the entire 'Pubbie party can go straight to hell as far as I'm concerned. |

I doubt they'll appear here to once again defend the GOPe against the indefensible, but who knows, desperate people do strange things. Just be certain that in the next election, you vote for whichever candidate the entrenched GOPe hacks, the media, and their bot-like lackeys here in the social media select for you. |

There was never any chance that the House would override a veto so whether there were enough votes to do so in the Senate is irrelevant.
"Congressional review" of the agreement is a dog and pony show. |

Assuming, we make it long enough for history to get there. The day the world dies, nothing will be learned. That's unfortunately, why I included the last part in there. I've had the fortune, or misfortune, of going to school for Intelligence & Security Counter-Terrorism, at OSU. A major part of it was spent on counter nuclear proliferation and why, nuclear weapon technology is the greatest threat to humanity. Unfortunately, our 'elected' president, must of missed some advisory meetings with his intelligence council on Iran, Nuclear Technology, etc... I unfortunately have a very bad feeling, that this deal is going to lead to many deaths. Too many players, too much insecurity and too much hate in the region. Add nuclear weapons to the mix and well... It will be ugly. Do you think Iran would of used nuclear tech against Iraq in the 80's? I do. Considering they used chemical weapons. Do you think ISIS, assuming they get their hands on one from Russia (Insecure), Pakistan (Insecure) or Iran (Unknown) woultd use one? I do. Do you think this will cause a full blown arms race in the middle east? I do, and whoever does not think so, apparently has no idea on modern politics. So, I would bet we see more nuclear players in the next 5-10 years. Probably... Double. I'm betting Iran, the Saudi's, possibly Jordan (If they can afford it), UAE, Israel (to officially announce / test), Egypt, Kenya, possibly South Africa (2.0), Poland. More weapons out there... Greater chance for proliferation... Sad day when the US is the cause of it. |
